Strength and Power

Our Strength and Power class is great for all people ranging from complete beginners to advanced athletes. If you do not have any prior experience in strength training, this class is for you because we will teach you the fundamental principles so that you can get stronger, increase power, and improve your athleticism.

This is NOT an Olympic Weightlifting or Powerlifting specific class, however, this class compliments athletes in various sports who want to get faster, stronger, and powerful.

This class also is great for people who have experience with barbell training because the movements help you to develop and improve your technique and skills in a formal setting. Whether you are a casual gym-goer or a serious athlete, you will benefit from learning all the major barbell lifts properly (including the squat, press, deadlift, pulling, accessory exercises and bodyweight movements). We use movements on various planes of motion, and we emphasize non-barbell lifts too, so don’t be surprised if you go from lifting the barbell, to pressing dumbbells, to swinging kettlebells. In every class we alternate the equipment, exercises, intensity, and volume so that your training is varied, fun, and challenging, and you continue to improve.
